Glass Egg Digital Media is a foreign-owned computer game developer and 3D art production facility. We’ve been operating in Vietnam for more than 10 years and our clients include some of the top publishers and developers in the game industry, including EA, Activision, Microsoft, Sony, Sega, Codemasters. Glass Egg is now developing a new division for the online market and is looking for a young professional to join the team!

DEFINITION OF THE ROLE
As a Product Manager (PM), the candidate is expected to take charge of the growth and performance of a specific game product / brand.

The Product Manager reports to the Sr. Operations Manager.

He is responsible for the design, development, management, and execution of projects and initiatives related to the localization, testing, release, operation, and promotion / marketing of the game product across the region.

The PM is also responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with partners, developers, and vendors related to the game product.

The job involves managing multiple teams for every facet of product management—from website developers, game operations staff, sales and distribution staff, localization staff, and even technical resource staff. The PM may likewise be assigned direct reports and staff in the form of Assistant Product Managers (APMs) and Community Managers.

Working cross-functionally with other departments (finance, creative, legal, operations, and technology resources), the Product Manager is tasked with developing marketing concepts and tactics, business plans, development requirements, and launch plans.

The position is an opportunity for the right individual to have a major impact on the fast-growing field of Online Gaming in Vietnam.

KEY RESULT AREAS
The Product Manager works to create the most value while minimizing cost in the following areas:
1. Game brand management and marketing
- Take the primary role in the development and stewardship of the product’s brand identity and strategy
- Manage acquisition marketing initiatives to drive player growth
- Game community management
- Drive the development of key product assets such as in-game screenshots, event footage, visual renders, podcasts, etc.
- Determine product content roadmap and release schedules
2. Game performance monitoring and data analysis
- Acquisition
- Retention
- Conversion
- Revenue
3. Event planning for both in-game as well as on-the-ground
4. Localization planning
5. Coordination and relationship management with game development partners

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a reputable academic institution
Experience
• At least 2+ years in product management experience preferably in the online gaming industry
• Successful and documented track record in leading product launches for Internet-based services and brands
