QA Lead
QA Lead is the one in charge of a QA team under his/ her supervision. His/ her main tasks are to assign projects/ builds to testers, drive them for the best commitment and performance, and make sure that the tests match both production deadline and Gameloft quality standards as stated in the applicable checklists.

Your daily responsibilities consist of:
- Team management:
 Supervise a small team of testers (from 5-10 testers), be the main contact for team in communication with QAPMs/Producers;
 Control the discipline in the team (working hours, day-off, behavior at work…);
 Evaluate and improve Testers in the team;
 Give proper training to the team upon updates in QA Process/Documents;
 Motivate team member with clear target and clear career path.

- Project management:
 Ensure the resource allocation for assigned builds, alerting QA Project Manager for any resource issues;
 Follow-up the schedule on QA database, make sure the proper update;
 Update the team with latest documents related to the project;
 Control the process used in the project, make sure the test is performed following the QA standard;
 Control the test progress in the team to ensure on time performance of testers;
 Check/ Test the game early in beta and in beta phase to ensure the quality of the build, warning the team for any issue (miss bugs on each version…);
 Analyze the bugs added by Testers and take action (filter, sum-up the bug based on its severity/ scope...) to speed up the debug progress;
 Analyze the project status and give solution/strategy to speed up the test progress;
 Sum-up the project status and report to QAPM/ Producer/ Developer;
 Evaluate and confirm bugs after checking with Producer/ QAPM/ Gold Confirmation Lead;
- Control the overtime in the team.
- Technical management and Development:
 Make proposals to improve the testing process/ working environment (new tools, testing method…);
 Regularly review and update the checklists used in team.

Requirements

- 2-3 years experience in a similar role;
- Graduating from IT major is an advantage;
- Good team management and problem solving skills;
- Teaching/Coaching skills;
- Fully mastering the tools needed for the job;
- Good knowledge of the process and checklists;
- Proficient in English.
