Experience in working with protocols: OPC, DDE, Profibus, Modbus, TCP/IP

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong knowledge of software architecture and popular design pattern in embedded software system.
Excellent knowledge in data structures and algorithms.
Strong experience using GDB under Linux environment.
Good knowledge in concurrency, network-programming using either Linux system call or POSIX.
Good analytical thinking/logic, problem solving, good working attitude, adaptation and ability to learn quickly.
Having experience in digital image processing or video streaming is a plus.
Good knowledge in Linux administration is a plus.
Good knowledge in kernel and driver development (in Linux) is a plus.

Duties

Propose and evaluate system architecture and design.
Participate in detailed design activities.
Responsible for the development task in the project.
Participate in quality control activities (requirement review, design review, code review).

Manage project or work closely with Project Manager to monitor and control project.

Analyze and transfer customer’s requests to project team members during whole development process
Frequently & actively contact customers to clarify requirement contents
Control project schedule, especial delivery milestones
Report progress status to customer
Control all inbound/outbound materials (documents, source codes …)
Monitor translation progress of received materials as well as deliverables.
Prepare detailed requirement
Develop test cases and perform test cases to verify deliverables.
Translate requirement, Q&A, email, etc.
