Position: SQL Database Administrator
Job Description:
- Reporting to the Regional DBA lead, the database administrator’s main responsibility is maintaining day-to-day database operations, fulfilling a full range of database administration functionality such as monitoring, trouble-shooting, change management and security management
- A certain level of architectural design, such as capacity planning, performance data collection, performance report authoring may be required

Responsibilities:
- Production SQL DBA working in the Infrastructure team
- Manage large scale, multi clusters and production database servers with a SQL2005, 2008 and 2012
- Manage enterprise level backup and recovery
- Advanced TSQL tuning is desired but not essential
- Capacity Planning for all production, UAT and DEV servers
- On call roster requirement
- Evaluate overall database operations and information technology functions and recommend enhancements.
- Database security and daily operational performance maintained
- Proactive maintenance and monitoring system for high availability, reliability
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting and solving user’s problems
- Document about working environment, managed systems
- Be involved in or co-ordinate discussionsegotiations with third party suppliers as dictated by deliverable requirements.
- Recommend, schedule, and also perform after hours maintenance and release management tasks
- Ensure the security of the information systems, communication lines, and equipment
- Responsible for the development, review, and certification of all back-up and disaster recovery procedures and plans as they relate to system deliverables.

Required skills/Experience:
- Ability to learn new things fast
- Be able to work independently and under high pressure
- Good in problem-solving and troubleshooting
- Strong Microsoft SQL Server 2005 , 2008, 2012, and 2014 DBA skills
- Knowledge of the database engine
- Wide ranging experience with information technology computer systems, software applications, infrastructure and communications
- Understand the data storage structure for tables and indexes
- Understand database backup and recovery
- Setup, administer and migrate Reporting Services
- Author SSRS reports, experience and understanding of SQL SSRS
- Deploy and trouble shoot SSIS packages
- SQL Profiler and system DMVs
- Principles of Security administration
- SQL Server Replications
- HA environments (Log Shipping, Mirroring, Clustering, AlwaysOn)
- Good English communication skills, TOEIC 500
- Having SQL server certificates (e.g., MCTS, MCSA) is a plus
Years of experiences: 5 -7 years
