Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance and Quality Control

1. Manage & oversee the entire Quality Assurance function and ensure that systems, people and products comply with all required due diligence, inspections, checks and quality standards as specified.
2. To evaluate existing quality systems, and to design and implement necessary improvements, and review the suitability of all QC processes and monitor its progress on a continuous improvement basis.
3. Support new changes and processes that are implemented and be able to train team members if necessary on the changes.
4. Conduct audits/spot checks of factory for compliance to established QA system and report opportunities for quality improvement.
5. Co-ordinate and ensure the proper receiving of incoming products and the inspection activities and that those products are inspected within a reasonable time.
6. Conduct the required inspections by performing visual inspections to ensure inbound quality of products.
7. To determine the appropriate sampling requirements for the day and to verify product conformance according to customer requirements.
8. Manage and integrate the grading of all inbound products and to notify Senior Management of all unacceptable and out-of-specification products.
9. Check and Maintain a set of complete and accurate quality inspection record
10. Investigate any customers’ complaints and response promptly with appropriate corrective actions.
11. Train and develop key staff to perform hands-on quality control checks.

Factory Management

1. Manage & oversee the day to day production processes for all the company’s product lines, and to ensure efficiency, compliance with regulatory and procedural requirements, and that the product quality meets with customer and company specifications.
2. Ensure the daily routines and tasks of the factory are completed satisfactorily, and any assigned projects are completed within the specified time frame.
3. Establish, implement and manage systems for efficient stock control to meet the production needs of all the company’s product lines, and in keeping with the market demand for each product.
6. To constantly explore and implement methods of continuous improvements.
7. Provide regular production planning and other production information to the Directors.
8. Any other duties, responsibilities and tasks as assigned by the Directors or by any person assigned by the Directors as and when deemed necessary and appropriate such as:

- product development
- checking of payroll
- distribution of salary in cash
- keeping petty cash when Director is out of the country
- other ad hoc duties.





Requirements:

- University/ College graduate;

- Able to speak & understand English;

- Have at least 6-7 years of overall managerial & supervisory experience in the Food, Agriculture, Wholesale, Import/Export or Logistics industries;

- Have at least 6-7 years of experience managing factory, production or operation workers;

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines;

- Well-organised & proactive with positive attitude;

- Willing to go down to the ground to solve problems & issues;

- Able to think strategically as well as manage day-to-day operations on the ground;

- Able to work in a stressful & fast-paced environment;

- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
