Job Description:

COBOL Software Engineer (Developer) will work in projects of the Delivery Service team as assigned and is responsible for the design, development, implementation, unit testing and testing of software applications, and communication with local project team in English.

Working Relationships

• Reports to Project Manager or assigned coach
• Works in collaboration with other project team members
• Works in collaboration with onsite team members Professional Responsibilities
• Can be assigned to role to developer, designer, tester, leader
• Analysis and understand the functional requirements and propose the solutions for implementation
• Write design/implementation documentation
• Review code
• Aid in creating prototype/test applications
• Adhere to strict delivery schedules
• Participate in design/code reviews
• Coding, implementing, maintain, unit testing, testing, and troubleshoot software
• Communicate well (writing, verbally) with team members

Job Requirements:

Professional Requirements
• At least 02 year hand on experience in COBOL programming for z/OS system, TSO, XML/WSDL and Web services.
• Good at IT background knowledge of software development process, COBOL and Mainframe knowledge.
• Able to speak English
• Ability to work independently and under high pressure. Education/Training
• Bachelor Degree
